Iron ore drops amid high temperatures

Seaborne iron ore prices snapped a winning streak for the week and returned to a marked decline on Wednesday. The hot weather in many provinces of China has hindered outdoor work. The Kallanish KORE 62% and 65% Fe indices declined by $1.2/tonne but rose by $1.17/t respectively on Wednesday to $110.07/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao and $124.94/dmt cfr.
