Iron ore drops due to output restrictions
Seaborne iron ore prices fell on Friday, with expectations for iron ore weakening on news of steel production curbs.
The Kallanish KORE 62% and 65% Fe indices dropped by $0.83/tonne and $0.81/t respectively on Friday to $113.61/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao and $127.27/dmt cfr. Meanwhile, the KORE 58% Fe index declined $0.31/t to $106.05/dmt cfr.
