Iron ore drops amid output cut rumours
Seaborne iron ore prices fell on Tuesday amid rumours that China will reduce steel production further this year.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index lost $1.33/t on Tuesday to $129.41/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao. The Kallanish KORE 65% Fe index declined $1.34/t at $145.05/dmt cfr, and the KORE 58% Fe index reached $0.49/t lower to $118.74/dmt cfr.
