Iron ore drops, Anglo American cuts jobs
Seaborne iron ore prices saw more declines on Thursday, as market activity remained weak with largest buyer China out of action.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index declined $0.42/t to $119.15/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao. The Kallanish KORE 65% Fe dropped $0.51/t to $127.95/dmt cfr, but the KORE 58% Fe index gained $1.79/t to $107.54/dmt cfr.
On the Singapore Exchange, October 62% Fe futures and 65% Fe futures settled down $0.33/t and $1.15/t respectively at $115.13…
