Iron ore declines on tariff rumours
The seaborne iron ore market fell slightly on Friday. Reports that Chinese steel exports will face joint tariffs from the United States and the European Union dampened sentiment.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index declined by $0.53/tonne and the KORE 65% Fe index lost $0.57/t on Friday to $118.6/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao and $128.06/dmt cfr respectively. The KORE 58% Fe index lost $0.07/t to $105.85/dmt cfr.
