Iron ore declines on mills' production cuts
Seaborne iron ore prices have fallen as Chinese mills add plans to shut down production.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index lost $0.89/tonne on Thursday to $96.69/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao. The Kallanish KORE 65% Fe index was $0.87/t lower at $109.84/dmt cfr, and the KORE 58% Fe index dropped $0.16/t to $86.18/dmt cfr.
