Iraqi rebar maker Al Anmaa seeks investors
Al Anmaa Co.’s steel plant in Basra, Iraq, has been put up for sale after resuming production three months ago following a long stoppage.
Jordanian parent company Al Tanmiya for Steel Industries is holding talks to sell the steel plant since it is unhappy with electricity outages in Iraq, which lead to costly electric arc furnace restarts, a trader familiar with the situation tells Kallanish.
