Iran's SKS sees output surge
Iran's South Kaveh Steel (SKS) recorded a 33.7% on-year surge in billet production in the five months through 22 August to 438,000 tonnes, while direct reduced iron output rose 10.6% to 637,592t.
Domestic billet sales rose 45% and exports grew 20.7% in the period thanks to increased shipments and new export destinations, SKS says without providing tonnages.
