Iranian billet export prices soar
Iranian mills received higher bids in the latest round of billet export tenders.
This week, Sisco closed a tender for 20,000 tonnes of 150mm 3sp grade billet at $496/tonne fob Iran for loading in late March/April, while Esfahan Steel (Esco) finalised its tender for 30,000t of billet for early-April readiness at $500/t fob, notes Kallanish.
