Iran, Saudi lead Mid-East DRI output growth

Middle Eastern direct reduced iron production in the four countries covered by worldsteel’s monthly report increased 13% on-year in October to 3.12 million tonnes, Kallanish notes. The region’s largest producer, Iran, is estimated to have increased production 16% in October to 2.12mt.
