Iran lifts Mid-East production to new record high
Crude steel production in the four Middle Eastern countries covered by worldsteel’s monthly report rebounded 25% on-year in December to 3.79 million tonnes, Kallanish notes. In November it had uncharacteristically declined by -3.4% on-year to 2.99mt.
