Iran increases iron ore pellet production
Iranian iron ore pellet output increased by 4% on-year to 23.8 million tonnes in the first half of the Iranian calendar year through 22 September.
The highest production was achieved by Gol Gohar with 6.07mt, despite a 4% decrease versus last year, according to the Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA).
Other large pellet producers were Mobarekeh Steel, Midhco, Khouzestan Steel, and Opal Parsian Sangan, with 3.59mt, 2.93mt, 2.76mt and 1.77mt, respectively.
