Iran concentrate output grows despite March dip
Ten Iranian iron ore concentrate producers reported a 5% on-year output decline in the month through 20 March to 3.53 million tonnes, according to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (Imidro). Concentrate deliveries fell 17% to 1.48mt.
Concentrate output in the Iranian year through 20 March 2021 nevertheless still rose 5% on-year to 49.7mt, Kallanish notes.
