Iranian billet export prices climb to challenging level
Iranian billet export deals have been struck at levels above those viable for Far East markets, which account for most of Iran's semi-finished buyers, notes Kallanish.
Last week, KSC announced the conclusion of a billet export tender for 30,000-40,000 tonnes at $510/t fob for shipment at the end of March or early April. This came right after ESCO's tender closed on 30 January at $500/t fob for mid-April load readiness.
