Investors urge Posco to exit Myanmar venture
South Korean steelmaker Posco is under growing pressure from investors demanding it exits a steel joint venture in Myanmar. This is held jointly by Posco’s majority-owned subsidiary Posco C&C, as well as Myanmar Economic Holdings Ltd (MEHL), which is controlled by the Myanmar military, Kallanish notes.
