Interpipe decreases first-half output, sales amid war
Ukrainian pipemaker Interpipe decreased crude steel production in the first half of the year, the company says. The volume amounted to 286,000 tonnes, down by 36% on-year, Kallanish notes.
Six-month output of pipe fell by 19% to 205,000t and production of railway products halved to 40,000t.
In the second quarter alone, Interpipe produced 123,000t of steel, down 24.5% on-quarter. Output of railway products fell 56.5% to 20,000t.
