European scrap hikes prompt Italian increases
Italian scrap prices are forecast to gain €10/tonne ($11/t) when market activity resumes in September. Sources believe prices will hike in line with the latest increases in Eastern European countries and Germany, and the expected further rise in Turkish scrap prices next month.
