Insteel sees increased earnings in second quarter
US wire rod producer Insteel Industries experienced on-year gains in the company's second fiscal quarter, Kallanish reports.
In the quarter ended 28 March, Insteel recorded a net profit of $4.4 million on sales of $114.9m. On-year, Insteel's earnings are up from earnings of $1m on sales of $111.9m.
In fiscal Q1, Insteel experienced a gain of $600,000 on sales of $97.6m.
