Insteel sees big profit boost in fiscal Q3
US steel reinforcing wire producer Insteel Industries saw its profits nearly double in fiscal Q3 2018 from their 2017 level, Kallanish reports.
Insteel posted a profit of $12.9 million on sales of $126.7m in the quarter ended 30 June, up from a profit of $6.9m on sales of $96.9m in Q3 2017.
The company saw a 16.5% increase in shipments and a 12.2% increase in average selling prices during that time period.
