Insteel profits dip in Q2
US longs producer and metals recycler Insteel fell into the red in the fiscal second quarter, though the company expects a gentler second half to the fiscal year.
In the quarter ended 31 March, Insteel reported a net loss of $5.9 million on sales of $107.4m. In fiscal Q2 2017, the company earned $7.4m on sales of $101.2m, Kallanish notes.
