Insteel Industries' profits rise in first quarter
US wire rod producer Insteel Industries' earnings rose in a yearly comparison during the first quarter, Kallanish understands.
In the first quarter, Insteel earned $14.9 million on sales of $139m. On-year, quarterly earnings are up from a profit of $4.36m on sales of $258.6m in Q1 2020.
