Insteel: US construction outlook remains unclear
US wire reinforcing products producer Insteel says the outlook for the construction industry in the next few months remains murky.
Insteel netted a profit of $9.9 million on sales of $103.1m in its fiscal fourth quarter, down from earnings of $9.6m on sales of $118.1m in fiscal Q4 2015. Improved margins account for the relatively steady profits despite an overall dip in sales and pricing, Kallanish notes.
