Inner Mongolia steelmakers buy capacity quota from Tianjin
Three Inner Mongolian steel plants have released their steel capacity replacement schemes, which involve buying 1 million tonnes/year of steel capacity quota from Tianjin Jiangtian Heavy Industries (Tianzhong). The companies also had to find other steelmaking quota elsewhere, and the complicated replacement process reflects the stricter capacity restrictions in China, Kallanish notes.
