Inner Mongolia Qinghua starts coke oven upgrade
Inner Mongolia Qinghua Coal Chemical has started construction of its coke oven upgrade project in Wusitai, Alxa. Completion is scheduled for December 2023, Kallanish notes.
The company will replace its four existing 4.3-metre 72-oven coking batteries with two 6.78m 70-oven batteries. However, total coke capacity will remain at 2 million tonnes/year.
