Coking coal observers expect improved second half-year
Industry players are positive on the coking coal price outlook for the second half of 2024, which is underpinned by tighter supply and improved demand.
"We see things getting better in the second half as prices may rebound to $270-280/tonne fob [Australia], due to less supply and more demand," Square Resources trading and marketing vice president Myles Perrin told Kallanish on the sidelines of a coking coal event in Singapore last week.
