IndustriALL reiterates call to cut safeguard quotas
Global union federation IndutriALL reiterated last week in its latest position paper on steel its call to cut safeguard tariff-free quotas by -75% for the second part of 2020.
The association voiced in many aspects the requests already made in recent months by Eurofer, the European steelmakers association. In particular, it confirmed the fear that European steel production could be impacted by a surge in imports.
