Indonesia's new capital construction needs 9.5mt steel
The construction of Indonesia's new capital is expected to require approximately 9.5 million tonnes of steel by 2035, Purwono Widodo, Chairman of The Indonesian Iron and Steel Industry Association (IISIA), said at the 2023 IISIA Business Forum (IBF) press conference held in Jakarta on 6 November.
