Indonesia’s biggest ferro-nickel project starts construction
On 3 April, China MCC 17 Group began constructtion in a project owned by Indonesia Ruipu Nickel and Chrome Alloy (Ruipu). This project is anticipated to produce 600,000 tonnes/year of ferronickel. Construction work has started on the No.3 electric arc furnace in B area, although the commissioning date has not yet been released, Kallanish notes.
