Indonesian miner postpones ferronickel smelter development

Indonesia’s PT Central Omega Resources (COR) will postpone the development of its smelter project due to problems caused by Covid-19, it says. The smelter is part of the second phase of the firm’s nickel pig iron (NPI) project in Northern Morowali, Central Sulawesi. The development of Phase II will not be carried out this year.
