Indonesian galvalume firms boost output after profitable year
Indonesia’s galvalume demand is likely to hit around 1.3 million tonnes in 2017, of which domestic firms will supply around 30%, according to the Indonesia Zinc Aluminium Steel Industry association. Local producers returned to profit last year, helped by import barriers and rising international steel prices, Kallanish notes.
