Indonesian nickel demand to surge by 2025: APNI
The Indonesian Nickel Miners Association (APNI) expects that the country’s demand for nickel ore will reach 250 million tonnes in 2025, according to APNI Secretary Meidy Katrin Lengkey, Kallanish learns from CNBC Indonesia.
Meanwhile, Meidy says that the actual demand in 2021 only reached 57mt, which was equivalent to 47.5% of the 2021 Work Plan and Budget (RKAB) target of 120mt.
