Indonesian authorities confiscate Heru Hidayat’s nickel mines
The Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office of Indonesia has confiscated a total of 23,000 hectares of nickel mining areas owned by Heru Hidayat. He is a suspect in the alleged PT Asabri financial management and investment funds corruption case, Kallanish notes.
Hidayat was also sentenced to life in prison on separate corruption charges in October 2020.
