Indonesia investigates nickel smelter pricing
Indonesia's anti-monopoly agency has begun to investigate the pricing of Indonesian nickel smelters, Kallanish notes. The investigation was initiated after a complaint was filed earlier by the Nickel Miners Association (APNI).
The government imposed a benchmark nickel ore pricing format after local nickel miners complained to the government that domestic smelters have depressed nickel prices.
