Indonesia Dexin commissions slab caster
Dexin Steel Indonesia completed the hot test of its No.4 slab caster on 15 August.
The caster can produce slabs with a thickness of 210/230mm and is equipped with a size adjustment device to meet actual market demand. This allows the steel mill to stabilise its slab supply at around 2 million tonnes/year, Kallanish learns from a company source.
