Indonesia Dexin commissions No.3 coke oven
Indonesia Dexin Steel commissioned its No.3 coke oven battery on 5 March, completing the planned the extension of its first phase.
The coking capacity of this steelmaker is now 2.8 million tonnes/year across four coke oven batteries, growing from 2.05m t/y when its No. 4 coke oven was ignited last May. It can now meet all its own coke needs. It has iron and steelmaking capacity of 6m t/y and 7m t/y respectively since last September.
