Indonesia confiscates non-compliant Chinese steel
The Indonesian trade ministry's directorate general of consumer protection and commerce, PKTN, has temporarily seized IDR 41.68 billion ($2.81 million) worth of imported steel products from China. This is because these products do not meet the quality requirements of the Indonesian National Standard (SNI), Kallanish notes.
