Indonesia commissions Chinese-owned iron ore project
The Taliabu Iron Ore project on Indonesia’s Taliabu island has completed a full test run of its operations at its mine and concentration plant, according to project contractor China 19th Metallurgical Corporation. Indonesia’s large raw materials deposits and growing steel demand have meant growing investment by overseas companies, Kallanish notes.
