India’s Shreeyam Power & Steel plans capacity expansion
Gujarat-based Shreeyam Power & Steel aims to increase its direct reduced iron production capacity by 270,000 tonnes/year, from the existing 186,000 t/y to 456,000 t/y, Kallanish notes.
According to a company source, the expansion project is awaiting environmental clearance, and the project commencement is expected to begin in December.
