India's scrap imports fall again in March
Indian imports of ferrous scrap under HS code 7204 fell for a second consecutive month, by -37% on-year in March to 434,098 tonnes, Kallanish learns from Indian commerce ministry provisional data.
The average value of imported obsolete scrap under HS code 720449 was $309/tonne versus $350/t in March 2019.
