India's March finished steel exports surge to 1.6mt
Indian finished steel exports ballooned 363% on-year in March to a massive 1.62 million tonnes, as the country’s mills continued to exploit China’s absence in international markets. Domestic consumption rose only 2.2% to 7.99mt, according to an Indian Joint Plant Committee (JPC) report seen by Kallanish.
