India’s June automotive production, deliveries surge
Indian automotive output surged 23% on-year to 2,081,148 units in June, against 1,693,639 units produced in the same period last year, reports the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM).
On-month, output grew only marginally, by 6% against 1,965,541 units produced in May. Output includes passenger vehicles (PV), commercial vehicles, three-wheelers, two-wheelers and quadricycles.
