India’s IMFA eyes ferroalloys greenfield project expansion
India’s Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys (IMFA) aims to commence a greenfield project expansion at its Kalinganagar unit Odisha in 2022. The firm plans to invest INR 550 crore ($7.34 million) in the project.
The company had received the state government’s approval for its 100,000-tonne expansion project in 2019. However, the plan was put on hold due to Covid-19, Kallanish notes.
