India’s FIMI seeks iron ore export duty withdrawal
Indian mining body the Federation of Indian Mineral Industries (FIMI) has urged the government to withdraw the duty on iron ore exports. Currently, India levies a 30% export duty on iron ore with an iron content of more than 58%, Kallanish notes.
