India’s August automotive production, deliveries surge
Indian automotive output grew 15% on-year to 2,275,407 units in August, against 1,984,676 units produced in the same period last year, reports the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM).
On-month, output grew by 4% against 2,197,954 units produced in July. Output includes passenger vehicles (PV), commercial vehicles, three-wheelers, two-wheelers and quadricycles.
