India’s April coking coal production plunges dramatically

Indian coking coal production plummeted 48.45% on-month to 3.66 million tonnes in April, against 7.1mt produced a month earlier. Production, however, grew 13.73% on-year, Kallanish notes. Bharat Coking Coal (BCCL) was the largest producer of coking coal last month, producing 2.4mt against the monthly target of 2.7mt.
