Indian steelmakers call for MIP extension
The Indian Steel Association (ISA) has urged the government to extend minimum import prices (MIP) on 66 steel products for a further six months, according to local reports.
MIP expires on 4 October after it was extended in August for a further two months. The scheme was initially implemented on 173 products last February (see Kallanish 8 February).
