Indian semis exports slump in September
Indian semi-finished product exports, the majority of which were mild steel billet, declined -23.4% on-year in September to 220,534 tonnes, according to Indian commerce ministry data monitored by Kallanish.
Shipments to Nepal nevertheless rose 23.5% to a massive 109,071t and to Philippines by 7.4% to 32,630t. But deliveries to Indonesia fell -19.2% to 29,370t. Exports to Italy and Kenya grew to over 15,000t each. Malaysia and Saudi Arabia imported 10,3…
