Indian semis exports slump despite surge to Nepal
Indian semi-finished product exports, the majority of which were billet, fell -35% on-year in December 2018 to 164,613 tonnes, according to Indian commerce ministry data monitored by Kallanish. Their average value was $468/tonne versus $463/t in December 2017.
