Indian semis exports slump despite first China intake
Indian semi-finished product exports, the majority of which were billet, slumped -40% on-year in August to 194,988 tonnes, Kallanish learns from Indian commerce ministry data. Their average value was $411/tonne versus $503/t in August 2018.
