Indian semis exports slow growth despite Nepal surge
Indian semi-finished product exports, the majority of which were billet, slowed their growth further in November 2020 but still rose 14% on-year to 338,798 tonnes, Kallanish learns from Indian commerce ministry provisional data. They were however down -26% on October.
The average value of HS code 720719 billet exports was $423/tonne versus $371/t in November 2019 and $399/t in October 2020.
